Bronte Studios

Re-established in 2025, Bronte Studios builds on a strong independent filmmaking legacy that began in 2015. Originally co-founded by Blake Northfield in a small apartment in Bronte, NSW, the production company quickly moved into feature production, with the first feature film, Out of the Shadows, shot and produced on the NSW North Coast.

Since then, the company has delivered a diverse slate of feature films and series, including The School, Escape and Evasion (Netflix), Around the World (feature film and mini-series, sold to Red Bull Media House), and Streamline (Stan). Streamline premiered in 2021 at MIFF and Cinefest OZ, cementing the studio’s reputation for bold, audience-driven storytelling.
